India defeated Mongolia 13-0 in the opening match of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 qualifiers. India led 4-0 at halftime and added nine more goals after the break to secure their largest win in competition history, including both final rounds and qualifiers.
This result surpassed their previous best of 10-0 wins over Guam in 1997 and 2005. Pyari Xaxa led the way with five goals, scoring in the 29th, 45th, 46th, 52nd, and 55th minutes.
