In his message, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of collective efforts to preserve natural resources and ensure a healthier planet for future generations. He reiterated that environmental responsibility remains central to India’s development agenda, emphasising that economic growth and ecological conservation can go hand in hand.

Modi noted that India has undertaken several initiatives aimed at combating climate change, increasing renewable energy capacity, and promoting sustainable lifestyles. Campaigns such as Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) have encouraged citizens to adopt environmentally conscious practices in their daily lives. He stressed that individual actions, when combined with policy support, can create meaningful change on a global scale.

The Prime Minister also acknowledged the role of communities, youth, scientists, and environmental activists in advancing conservation efforts. Calling for greater international cooperation, he said that developing nations have an important role in shaping climate solutions that are equitable and inclusive.
