CBSE Expands Global Footprint with First International Sahodaya Meet in Dubai
For the first time in its history, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) held its famed Sahodaya School Complex Conference outside India. Over a thousand school leaders, educators, and policymakers from CBSE-affiliated schools around the world attended the “1st International & 31st Annual Conference of Sahodaya School Complexes – 2025,” which was hosted at the Grand Hyatt Dubai.
The conference focused on the subject “Rooted in Wisdom, Rising with Vision: Reimagining Education through NEP 2020,” which reflects the changing vision of Indian education in a rapidly globalising world. Participants included principles, management leaders, and teachers from CBSE schools, particularly those in the Gulf region, where over 100 Indian curriculum schools operate.
The two-day forum explored innovative methods to implementing the National Education Policy 2020, emphasising creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. It also encouraged school cooperation to strengthen intercultural awareness and holistic education.
By organising the event on a worldwide scale, CBSE has underlined its commitment to broadening the reach of Indian education standards and emphasising NEP 2020 as a framework for developing globally competent learners. The Dubai edition marks a new chapter in CBSE’s educational engagement on a worldwide scale.
