Indo-Vietnam Cultural Heritage Strengthened Through UNESCO and IBR Partnership

In an effort to strengthen cultural ties between India and Vietnam, UNESCO-Vietnam has collaborated with the India Book of Records (IBR) to promote Indo-Vietnam cultural heritage through a variety of activities. The India Book of Records, a renowned organisation that has recognised Indian achievements for over two decades, has long been a forum for showcasing Indian talent around the world.
On February 14, 2025, IBR issued Nguoi Bao Tonne Di San – The Guardian of Heritage, which celebrates India and Vietnam’s shared traditions. The organisation also announced a cross-cultural film named Vuon Tinh Yeu – Prem Ki Surdhara, with filming now underway in Indore and the next phase scheduled for Hanoi. The film is expected to be released on February 14, 2026.
Continuing these cultural activities, IBR held a Vietnamese Cultural Dance Training Program at its Faridabad headquarters from October 2 to 5, 2025. The workshop, led by renowned Vietnamese artists and organised by UNESCO, provided selected Indian students aged 13 to 17 with a one-of-a-kind learning experience in traditional Vietnamese dance.
The second phase of this exchange will take place in Vietnam, where Indian participants will teach Indian classical dance while learning about Vietnamese artistic traditions, deepening mutual cultural appreciation.
