The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) held a series of roadshows in New Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai from September 8 to 12, 2025. These events sought to increase engagement with the Indian travel industry and highlight Abu Dhabi’s increasing tourism offerings. Representatives from hotels, airlines, attractions, and destination management companies gathered with prominent Indian travel agents and tour operators to discuss future collaboration.

India remains Abu Dhabi’s top inbound tourism market. In 2024, the emirate hosted over 360,000 Indian hotel guests, a 43% rise from the previous year. According to projections, more than 400,000 Indian visitors will arrive by the end of 2025. Improved flight connectivity, a vibrant event schedule, and diverse offerings, including family vacations, luxury travel, and MICE tourism, all contribute to growth.

The roadshows featured popular sites like Yas Island, Al Ain, Al Dhafra, and the Saadiyat Cultural District. Attractions like the teamLab Phenomena interactive displays and the BAPS Hindu Mandir have been cited as top attractions for Indian tourists. The Experience Abu Dhabi Experts e-learning portal was launched to provide travel agents with multilingual training and certification.

Marketing kits, tourist guides, and the Abu Dhabi Pass were also marketed to enhance visitors’ experiences.
