Nepal’s newly formed government has unveiled an ambitious 100-point action plan aimed at tackling corruption and modernising the state apparatus. The initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to improving governance, transparency, and public service delivery.

The plan focuses on strengthening anti-corruption mechanisms, enhancing accountability in public institutions, and digitising government services to reduce inefficiencies. Officials stated that reforms will target key sectors, including public administration, infrastructure, and economic management.

The government has also prioritised economic recovery and job creation, with measures aimed at boosting investment and improving the business environment. Efforts to modernise institutions include adopting technology-driven solutions and streamlining bureaucratic processes.

Analysts view the plan as a significant step toward addressing long-standing governance challenges in Nepal. However, they note that effective implementation will be critical to achieving tangible results.
