According to the Boxing Federation of India (BFI), India dominated the Girls’ Boxing section, winning four gold medals and one silver, reinforcing the country’s growing supremacy in the Asian arena. Khushi Chand (46kg) started the winning streak, defeating China’s Luo Jinxiu 4:1. Soon after, Ahaana Sharma (50kg) dominated Korea’s Ma Jong Hyang in a first-round Referee Stopped Contest (RSC). Chandrika Bhoreshi Pujari (54kg) defeated Uzbekistan’s Muhammadova Kumriniso 5:0, and Anshika (+80kg) won India’s fourth gold medal. Harnoor Kaur (66kg) fought hard to win the silver medal.

Lanchenba Singh Moibungkhongbam (50kg) won silver in a close battle with Kazakhstan’s Nurmakhan Zhumagali, while Anant Deshmukh (66kg) finished third.

The impressive six-medal haul highlights India’s growing youth boxing program and focused training at NS NIS Patiala under head instructors Vinod Kumar and Jitender Raj Singh. This achievement solidifies India’s growing dominance in Asian boxing and demonstrates a new generation poised to take the world stage.
