Morning Consult Survey Places PM Modi at Top with 75% Approval
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again been ranked as the world’s most popular democratic leader. According to the most recent Morning Consult survey, held between July 4 and 10, 2025, PM Modi received a 75% approval rating, giving him the world’s highest-rated and most trusted democratic leader.
South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and Argentine President Javier Milei followed him. In contrast, US President Donald Trump ranked eighth, with an approval rating of less than 45%.
Morning Consult, a business intelligence organisation based in the United States, surveyed adults in several nations using a seven-day moving average methodology. It found that 75% of Indian respondents approved of PM Modi’s leadership, 18% disapproved, and 7% were undecided.
BJP leader Amit Malviya highlighted the results on the social media site X, complimenting PM Modi’s strong leadership and the global trust in him. Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal expressed similar thoughts, praising the Prime Minister’s unwavering support and leadership.
PM Modi has topped Morning Consult’s Global Leader Approval Tracker since September 2021. His ratings have consistently grown over time, reaching 78% in February 2024.
