Dubai is set to unveil its next architectural marvel, the world’s largest palm-shaped island, ‘Palm Jebel Ali’. Dubai, well-known for luring global millionaires, is cementing its position as a top destination for luxury investments and high-net-worth individuals.

Palm Jebel Ali, which is now being developed by Nakheel, will span 13.4 square kilometres and add nearly 100 miles of coastline. The island will have 16 to 17 fronds and seven islands, making it substantially larger than the iconic Palm Jumeirah. Once completed, it is expected to house about 240,000 people, including 30,000 to 50,000 families.

The development will comprise more than 80 luxury hotels and resorts, as well as premium marinas, waterfront villas, garden residences, and high-end retail and dining experiences. Plans also feature theme parks, including a major attraction named “Sea Village.”

The project’s design incorporates renewable energy systems, water conservation measures, and smart-city technology to ensure its sustainability.

In addition, Abu Dhabi will soon welcome the world’s first branded island, Brabus Island, which will feature 92 ultra-luxury residences and private beaches. Cosmo Developers is developing the project, which will begin building in 2025 and be completed in 2029, setting a new benchmark for luxury living.
